WVA
Welcome to WVA
The community of Waterville Valley is ringed by the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, and a lot of our activity is informed by the location of this special place. Within the valley, we have access to tons of recreation opportunities, and trails, a tennis club, and a golf course literally sit adjacent (or in the middle of!) our campus.
We take full advantage of the White Mountains all year long. Including students' involvement in our 4,000 Footer club, with the goal of completing all 48 NH 4,000 fts during their time at WVA.
Our students can walk to stores, restaurants, a skating rink, mountain bike, and cross-country ski trails, as well as the White Mountain Athletic Club, where we do a lot of our off-snow conditioning in the pool. Plymouth, NH is just a short van ride away as well!
Our dorm is at the center of the campus, and it houses our dining room, two separate commons areas, and three dorm parent spaces. We have four full-time dorm parents on staff. Boarding students have activities each weekend that are supported by teachers and staff and tend to be of active variety.
We encourage you to get involved on campus through the Student Council! Each year the student body elects its representatives, who form the student council.

WVA College Counseling Program
Waterville Valley Academy is very proud of our student's college placement, putting students at such Universities as Harvard, Dartmouth, Middlebury, & Boston College in recent years.
In the increasingly competitive world of college applications, attending WVA sets you, as a student-athlete, apart from the rest of the applicants. Attending WVA shows potential colleges that you are independent, passionate, and driven by your sport as well as academics.
WVA has a full-time College counselor on Staff, who works individually with each student to identify and meet college goals.
