WVA Snowboard Program

WVA Snowboard athletes train to compete in slopestyle, big air, rail, and halfpipe contests. Training in the winter months takes place at Waterville Valley Resort on a terrain park built by WVA Staff. In the off-season, on-snow training takes place yearly at Mt. Hood and in Saas-Fee, Switzerland.

Snowboard athletes compete in regional USASA competitions throughout the Northeast, with hopes of making it to the USASA National Championships.

During the summer and fall athletes will be perfecting their acrobatic skills a the trampolines at the Thomas Barbeau Training Center and on the BagJump at Phil’s Hill on the WVA campus.
