Groms Program

The Groms program is a competition freestyle development program designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 10. Athletes interested in Freeskiing & Freestyle skiing will move on from the Mites Program and into the Groms Program.  The program offers an opportunity for our youngest skier to explore various freestyle disciplines including slopestyle, moguls, and aerials all while doing a ton of freeskiing and preparing young athletes to enter the competitive discipline(s) of their choice.

New groms should have the ability to perform basic link turns down green and blue trails at Waterville Valley.  Groms will be introduced to competitions at other mountains but, the majority of the weekends are spent skiing at Waterville Valley. Emphasis is placed on having fun, developing a lifelong love for skiing, and building skills all at the same time.  We foster healthy competition, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and social interaction along with the development of independence and responsibility.

2023/2024 Program Fees (YOB: 2014 & 2015) Early Bird Rate $2,357– Regular Rate $2,828
