Requirements for Admission

It is recommended that all WVA applicants familiarize themselves with Waterville Valley Academy by carefully reviewing our web site and the WVA application packet.  Click here for a copy of the Waterville Valley Academy application packet.  It is the responsibility of the WVA applicant to make sure that all of the following admissions materials are returned to Waterville Valley Academy - Admissions Office, PO Box 270, Waterville Valley, NH   03215:

  • Application Form signed and returned by Applicant and Parent

  • Non-refundable Application Fee payable to Waterville Valley Academy

  • Most recent transcript or grade report provided to WVA by school

  • Two Signed Academic Recommendation Forms provided to WVA by academic recommenders

  • One Signed Athletic Recommendation Form provided to WVA by athletic recommender

  • Signed Parent Commentary Form provided by parent

  • Photo of the Applicant

  • IEP Plan or 504 Plan, if any

All WVA applicants must be in grade 6-12 for the academic year applied for, in good academic standing and an alpine racing, freestyle skiing or snowboard competitor.
 

A personal interview is strongly recommended to provide the applicant the opportunity to meet members of the academic and athletic executive team, speak with fellow student athletes, take part in a half day of training and see the academic, dormitory and training facilities.  Click here for driving directions.
