Use of 2005/2006 Annual Giving Proceeds

The Annual Giving Campaign dollars raised during the 2005/2006 season will be used in the following ways during the 2005/2006 season:

Benefits to Waterville Valley Academy and BBTS Ski Club

Improve Ability to Attract/Retain Superior Coaches and Staff by improving coaches and administrative benefits and salaries in all three snowsports programs

Enhance Conditioning Program by hiring Athletic Trainer to further develop and coordinate conditioning needs of Club and Academy program

Improve Communications by developing and launching a new website

Enhance Video Analysis by purchasing new video cameras for the Alpine, Freestyle and Snowboard Programs

Continue to Develop and Enhance Program Reach by continuing the development snowboard program through the launch of the GROMS Snowboard Development Program and the hiring of a GROMS Snowboard coach

Improve Athletics through addition of full time Freestyle coaching position

Enhance Competition Venue through purchase of a new Alpine timing system

Enhance Off-Snow Conditioning through in kind donation of six Schwinn Evolution SR Indoor Cycling Bikes

Improve Coaches Office Space through improvements in the Competition Center

Benefits to Waterville Valley Academy

Enhance Academy Facilities by making WVA building improvements, including new rugs for the student rooms, refinished wood flooring, kitchen equipment and an improved Academy cleaning service

Improve the Quality and Delivery of Food Service

Improve Transportation through acquisition of additional Academy mini-bus

Improve Academic Environment through an increase in teachers’ salaries and leasing of additional classroom space in Town Square

Improve Dormitory Environment through conversion of downstairs classroom space into common space and workout room for students
