1.) Everyone can become a better skier, regardless of experience or age.

3.) Better skiers make faster ski racers.

The program runs from Opening Day until the end of March. We meet Saturdays and Sundays meeting at the base of the main quad at 9:00am. From 9:00 to 11:00, we ski in one or two groups working on ski technique improvement. Our teaching philosophy is to ski as much as possible. We have found that the most effective way for people to learn and improve their skiing technique is to: Discuss a technique or concept, watch a coach or skier do it correctly, do it yourself, and then review. At 11:00, we end the technical session and change over to gate training. If gates aren’t for you, you have the opportunity to go out and tear up the mountain and work on some of the techniques that we touched on in the morning. We usually end gate training around 1:00, break for lunch until 2:00, and then re-groupfor more technical free skiing and/or more gate training.

Each week, we will send you an Email by Thursday letting you know which skis, (slalomor giant slalom) you should bring for Saturday and Sunday. If you have only one pair of skis, don’t worry, it only makes your ski choice easier!

This year, BBTS is proud to host a Masters SL race at Waterville Valley on March 3rd, 2012.
