The J 3 alpine program provides athletes with the opportunity to refine existing skills, acquire new skills and increase their ablitiy to compete. J 3 athletes, ages 13-14, compete in about 15-20 events each season consisting primarily of USSA events. Top J 3 athletes aspire to compete in the Eastern J 3 Finals, the J 3 Junior Olympics and ultimately the Whistler Cup. In 2009-2010, the BBTS J 3 program qualified the most athletes in the East for the J 3 Junior Olympics at Sunday River, Maine.
