Freestyle Highlights and Distinctions
The first US amateur freestyle competition was
hosted in Waterville Valley in 1972. Since the
inception of the WVBBTS Freestyle program in 1973,
over 50 WVBBTS athletes have aspired to become
members of the US Freestyle Team. WVBBTS athletes
have earned 6 World Championship titles, an Olympic
Gold Medal, numerous World Cup wins and national
championship titles. Current representation on the
US Team includes 2006 US Mogul Champions Hannah

In 1999 and 2004, WVBBTS was
recognized as the USSA Outstanding Freestyle Club of
the Year. Nick Preston, WVBBTS Freestyle Program
